Mark Tendler, CPA has been advising closely held businesses and their owners on a variety of tax and financial matters for nearly 40 years. He specializes in corporate, personal and estate tax planning matters, as well as providing owners with guidance on partner compensation arrangements and succession planning. In addition, Mark is experienced in business valuations.
Mark joined the Firm in 1975 and was elected as a named Partner in 1988. During the years, Mark has gained experience in a variety of industries and currently services clients in the following areas: construction, real estate, insurance, consulting and retail. After graduation, Mark worked at two other public accounting firms and in the private industry sector where he specialized in the garment industry.
A Certified Public Accountant in both New Jersey and New York, Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
A graduate of Long Island University, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Mark resides in Paramus, New Jersey with his wife, Carol. They have three daughters and three grandchildren. Mark is a certified master scuba diver and avid fisherman. Both Mark and Carol volunteer their time for Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund, a nationally recognized organization that treats children with cancer and other blood disorders.
